The valve mechanism features a ceramic bearing instead of plastic (as used in other valves), which cannot withstand high temperatures. The housing includes a bead that defines the specified diameter. This ensures a seamless internal diameter transition when using exhaust pipes with a 1.5 mm wall thickness. Welding is also made significantly easier.
