On occasion, the cap will have the incorrect firing order listed. The correct firing order for all flat four VW engines is \u003cstrong\u003e1-4-3-2\u003c\/strong\u003e. Please install your ignition wires in this order. Failure to do so will cause your engine to misfire. Also, be sure that the ignition rotor is pressed firmly into place and bottoms out on the shaft.
