Grypmat is a Shark Tank success story. Grypmat was founded by military aircraft mechanic Tom Burden whose most frustrating challenge as an aircraft mechanic may seem trivial – his tools kept sliding off the jet he was working on. However, it soon became obvious to him through conversations with other mechanics that this was a widespread problem. Efficiency is the key to a successful mechanic. He was determined to solve this problem, & the Grypmat was born.
