Collection: Radiators

Radiators are vital components of a vehicle's cooling system, responsible for dissipating heat generated by the engine. They work by transferring heat from the coolant circulating through the engine to the surrounding air. Radiators consist of a series of narrow tubes & fins that increase the surface area for heat exchange. As coolant flows through the tubes, the heat is transferred to the fins, which are then cooled by the airflow generated by the vehicle's radiator fan or by the movement of the vehicle itself. This process helps regulate the engine's temperature & prevent overheating. Radiators are typically made of aluminum or copper, both of which have excellent heat conductivity properties. Regular maintenance, such as flushing the coolant & ensuring the radiator is free of debris, is crucial to keep the cooling system functioning efficiently. Signs of a faulty radiator include leaks, overheating, or a decrease in coolant levels. Prompt attention & repair are necessary to prevent engine damage.
