Collection: Oil Catch Cans

Oil catch cans are devices designed to capture & separate oil vapors from the engine's crankcase ventilation system. As the engine operates, blow-by gases containing oil mist can escape from the crankcase & enter the intake system. This oil contamination can lead to carbon buildup, decreased performance, & increased oil consumption. Oil catch cans are installed in the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system to intercept & collect these oil vapors before they reach the intake manifold. The catch can features baffles or filter media that allow the oil to condense & settle while allowing clean air to pass through. This collected oil can be drained periodically to prevent buildup & maintain proper engine performance. Oil catch cans are particularly beneficial for high-performance engines or engines with forced induction, where blow-by gases are more prevalent. They help keep the intake system clean, reduce carbon deposits, & protect the engine from oil contamination. Regular maintenance & cleaning of the oil catch can ensure its optimal function & performance.
