Collection: Water / Methanol Injection

Water / methanol injection is a performance enhancement system that injects a mixture of water & methanol into the intake manifold or combustion chamber of an engine. This system helps lower intake air temperatures, suppress detonation, & improve overall engine performance. Water/methanol injection works by spraying a fine mist of the mixture into the intake air, which evaporates & absorbs heat during the compression process. As the water evaporates, it cools the intake air, reducing the risk of pre-ignition & allowing for increased boost levels or advanced timing. Methanol, on the other hand, has a high octane rating & acts as a supplemental fuel, further cooling the intake charge & providing additional power. The system is typically controlled by an electronic controller that monitors engine parameters such as boost pressure, intake air temperature, & throttle position to determine the appropriate injection rate. Car water/methanol injection can be a valuable upgrade for turbocharged or supercharged engines, offering increased power, improved engine durability, & enhanced fuel efficiency when properly tuned & installed.
