Collection: Long Blocks

A long block engine is a more complete assembly compared to a short block, containing additional components such as cylinder heads, camshafts, valves, and sometimes the timing system. It includes everything from the cylinder block to the cylinder head gasket mating surface. Long block engines are often used as replacements in engine rebuilds or swaps because they come with most of the essential components needed for engine installation. They offer a convenient solution for repairing or upgrading an engine without the need to separately source and assemble individual parts. However, some additional components such as intake and exhaust manifolds, fuel system components, and accessory drives may still need to be transferred from the old engine or purchased separately.
