Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between LED+LED and LED+Laser?

LED+LED uses a Q4 center LED and delivers 11,990 raw lumens, 583,900 candela, and 750m of projection. LED+Laser adds a 15W center laser, increasing output to 12,340 raw lumens, 676,900 candela, and 840m of projection. Both configurations are rated at 135W.

Do I need to buy two for a pair?

Yes. This listing is for one pod. Add two to your cart for a matched ditch-light or A-pillar pair.

Is the VEGA 7 waterproof?

It carries an IP69K ingress rating, protecting against dust and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets for demanding off-road conditions.

Can it be mounted upside down?

Yes. Its symmetrical optics maintain the same beam pattern upright or inverted.

How does it compare with the Baja Designs LP6?

The LED+Laser comparison reports greater peak candela and throw distance than the LP6 at a lower price. See the linked customer review above for the comparison.

What connectors does it use?

The pod uses a Deutsch DT06-4S connector and includes a 24-inch cable whip. Check harness compatibility and circuit capacity for your installation.
