Can I install this myself without removing the radiator?
Yes. The tank mounts at factory points away from the radiator, so you can access fasteners with basic hand tools. Drain the existing coolant into a pan first, disconnect the overflow hose, remove the mounting bolts, and set the new tank in place. Reverse to secure.
Does this come with new hoses and clamps?
The tank assembly ships as a unit. Reuse your existing overflow hose and clamps if they're in good condition—OEM connections are the same. If hoses show cracks or hardening, replace them before install.
What if my current tank has a cap—does this one?
Coolant recovery tanks do not pressurize like the main radiator cap. This tank vents to atmosphere. Your radiator cap stays where it is and handles system pressure. This tank simply collects overflow coolant as the engine heats and cools.
