Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to drain and refill the entire cooling system?
Yes. Pull the lower radiator hose and drain into a pan; capture as much coolant as you can recover. When you bolt in the new radiator and reconnect both hoses, refill the system through the surge tank cap until coolant level reaches the MIN mark on the tank. Run the engine for 5–10 minutes, top off again, and check for leaks at all hose clamps.
Will this radiator work with my existing hoses?
Factory hose diameters and barb sizes remain consistent across the production run for this engine and transmission pairing. Your current upper and lower radiator hoses will bolt directly onto this unit without adapter fittings.
What if my radiator leaks or fails after installation?
Contact ModSupply customer service with photos of the defect and your order number. Returns and warranty claims are processed through our support team — we'll guide you through the next steps based on the failure mode and timing.
