We use an in mold High UV GEL Coat protectant finish that is mechanically bonded to the Carbon fiber this is also the same on the inside (Bottom) of the hood when choosing a full carbon hood no paint is requited ever.

Our Challenger Style Hood For Chrysler 300 also use an in mold black gel coat that is also bonded to fiberglass. We then buffed the carbon fiber to a mirror shine. We use NOT Automotive Clear coat on any of our carbon fiber!

Our Chrysler 300 hood will look better the longer you own them and will pick up more of a shine every time it is polished because of the UV Gel coat we use.

Again you do not want to use use an automotive clear coat like most MFG's that yellows, Fades or cracks over time guaranteed.

We payed close attention to the inner of the Chrysler 300 hood we wanted to make sure it looked good inside and out. We sculpted the inner to drop air across the Fuel rails down the headers out the low pressure zone which is the boom of the vehicle where the air is moving the fastest and we can extract the most heat from the engine bay.

This method atomizes the fuel better also by keeping the fuel rails cool under load further increasing fuel mileage. You can see in the picture the two slots from the top side lay directly over the fuel rails angled for max flow and max cooling effect!
