Clutch Cross-Shaft Bushing Kit [Bus/Vanagon]

If you're doing a clutch job this weekend, adding this Clutch Cross-Shaft Bushing Kit to your cart makes a lot of sense. These parts tend to get pretty worn out, and replacing them will help reduce the chance of clutch chatter in your 2WD and 4WD Vanagon.

The original VW design was not great, so we took the opportunity to improve reliability and longevity in this area. We replaced the original plastic bushing, and rubber seals, with a bushing similar to what VW used at the other end of the shaft. We have been using this improved design for many years now with complete success.

Kit includes:
• Cross shaft locating bolt - (14mm) 113-311-141A or (18mm) 113-311-141*
• Cross shaft bushing (113-141-711A)
• Cross shaft washer (113-141-717A)
• Heavy Duty Oil Impregnated Bronze Cross shaft bushing (20mm) that replaces the factory plastic bushing and rubber seals (113-141-707C)
• (2) Circlips

Fits: All 1976-79 Type II Bus, and all 2WD and 4WD Vanagon with manual transaxle.

Fit note: The 18mm cross shaft locating bolt is for the late-style 091-301-071E aluminum bell housing only. If you are using your original bell housing, please select the kit with the 14mm bolt in the drop-down menu.
