This stainless steel water pipe goes from the water pump to the passenger side head, behind the pulley (see installed photos). Includes gasket and all necessary hardware.

Fits: 1983-91 Vanagon

Note: The complex shape of this pipe makes it extremely difficult to manufacture in such a way that it fits without interference with features on the engine block. The OEM tube was made of regular steel and was considerably more ductile and easy to manipulate as needed. This reproduction pipe is made of stainless steel so it will not rust, but it is much stiffer and harder to manipulate. Like the OEM tube undoubtedly required (New OEM are NLA so we can’t verify this for certain), this SS tube will require some slight bending after bolting down at the water pump to properly align at the hose connection at the opposite end at the elbow—but the force required will be greater since because of stiffer, corrosion-resistant stainless steel from which it is made.
