The original Volkswagen Coolant Level Sensor is a simple and effective design that typically performed well; however, many of the available aftermarket reproductions of the sensor are prone to developing leaks in their all-plastic design.

Our GoWesty Coolant Level Sensor Conversion Kit includes a modern, all-metal coolant level sensor and a thread adapter with a new O-ring for direct install into either the original style Plastic Expansion Tank or our Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank.

Installation note: This kit replaces VW part numbers: 251-919-372 & 251-919-372A. This kit requires deleting the original wire connector plug and crimping on the included high quality weatherproof plug that matches the new sensor.
