We engineered a nifty grease dam feature that helps keep the grease in the CV joint where it needs to be! Not even the crafty Germans thought of that!

*Product note: To clamp or not to clamp? Great question! Some boot kits arrive pre-packaged with clamps for the small end of the boot. Most installers choose to omit this clamp (especially on Buses) as they are commonly believed to shorten the lifespan of the boot itself. There is no reason to fear grease flying out of the unclamped boot. It simply doesn't happen. However, in the case of the front outer boot on the 4WD Syncro, the boot design requires both the inner and outer clamps to be used; thus, they are always included in the boot kits.
