GRANATELLI 12V VACUUM SUPPORT SYSTEM
ALL THE VACUUM SUPPORT — WITHOUT THE OUTER HOUSING.
The Granatelli 410100 12-Volt Electric Brake Vacuum Pump Kit is the bare-pump version of Granatelli’s supplemental vacuum system, designed for vehicles that cannot consistently produce enough engine vacuum for dependable power brake assist.
Ideal for cammed vehicles, turbocharged and supercharged combinations, LS swaps, street rods and custom builds, the system automatically activates as vacuum drops and shuts itself off once the proper vacuum level is restored.

Same Vacuum Function — Simplified Bare-Pump Configuration
The 410100 eliminates the decorative outer housing found on the black, chrome and gunmetal versions. This makes it a strong choice for installations where the pump will be hidden, mounted in a tight location, or where appearance is less important than function.
THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
Low Engine Vacuum Can Reduce Brake Booster Assist
Cammed engines, forced-induction systems and certain modified engine combinations can produce less or less-consistent manifold vacuum, especially at idle. The Granatelli electric vacuum pump supplies supplemental vacuum independently of engine manifold vacuum to support a properly functioning power brake booster.

UNDERSTANDING THE 17–23 inHg RANGE
If It Cannot Reach or Hold Vacuum, Check the Entire System
The 410100 is designed to operate within approximately 17–23 inHg of vacuum. In a properly sealed and functioning system, the pump should cycle as needed to build and maintain vacuum within this range.
If the system cannot reach or maintain the expected vacuum range, that does not automatically mean the pump is defective. A leaking brake booster, faulty check valve, vacuum leak, loose fitting, incorrect hose routing or another vehicle modification can prevent the system from building or holding vacuum. Inspect the complete system before diagnosing the pump itself.

IMPORTANT VACUUM SYSTEM NOTE
The 410100 is designed to supplement a properly functioning vacuum system and operate within approximately 17–23 inHg. If the vehicle cannot reach or hold the expected vacuum level, inspect the brake booster, check valve, vacuum hoses, fittings, routing and vehicle modifications for leaks or excessive vacuum demand before assuming the pump has failed.
