Hall Sensor Kit [Late Vanagon]

This OEM hall sensor assembly kit fits most 1986-91 Vanagon distributors. The hall sensor does what ignition points used to do inside older-type distributors. However, unlike points, there is no adjustment to be made or cleaning that can be done. If the distributor is not signaling the Digifant EFI system to fire the spark plugs and injectors—it is most likely this part that is no longer working. This part comes with brand-new plastic plug, which is almost always broken on the original component. Hey, things get brittle!

Important note! This hall sensor kit does not fit all distributors. Please review the product image that shows the 17.4mm opening on the distributor body. You must measure your particular distributor prior to ordering. Installation instructions not included. Make sure you have a Bentley manual!
