Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Small Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.</p><p>These uncoated, MID-LENGTH tube headers are one of the most versatile headers Hedman Hedders manufacturers. While we've seen them on rare builds, like a SB Chevy equipped Studebaker, these MID-LENGTH headers are actually cataloged to fit Small Block Chevy V8 powered, 1967-81 Chevy Camaros; 1964-1987 GM A-Body and G-Body vehicles (Buick Regal, Chevy Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix); '68-79 Chevy II and Nova. Heck, they even fit 1984-2004 Chevy AstroVans. The smooth 1-5/8 in tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and improve horsepower and torque over stock manifolds.</p><p>These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish.</p><p>Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts.
