We were just as fed up, so we designed our own lower ball joint that is far superior to original design. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a pair of our bombproof all-steel "Clunk-Free" LBJ's!

Does your van tend to change directions on its own when you apply or lift off the throttle? If your alignment shop is having trouble keeping you "in line," you may need a new one (or two). Fits all 2WD and Syncro vans.

Fit Notes

There are many options out there when it comes to original-style ball joints. We've tried the majority of them, and while they all last and perform similarly, this Mahle joint is supplied with the nicest rubber boot. It is tougher than most, and will deliver the longest lifespan possible on a part that happens to wear out rather frequently. That said, it is light-years behind our Heavy-Duty Adjustable Lower Ball Joints that feature our virtually indestructible DuroGreen boot.

NOTE: Some vehicles won't accept the snap ring supplied with the lower ball joint. If that is the case, we suggest reusing your old snap ring.
