Manual to Power Window Conversion Kit [Vanagon]

No, you're not dreaming. You can actually convert your Vanagon's manual windows into power windows with this nifty kit. Gone are the days of having to lean waaaaaay over to roll down your passenger window!

Fits: This kit is designed for 1986-91 Vanagons. Earlier Vanagons (1980-85) have slightly different doors and while this kit can be made to work, our instructions only cover late-style doors.

Kit includes: Electric motors to crank your existing manual window regulators, all necessary parts, switches and wiring, and detailed installation instructions for updating both front windows. Kit even includes a nice finishing cap to plug the hole left by your no-longer-needed manual window crank.

A special "T-handle" is included so you can manually operate the windows in the event of an electric motor malfunction. This is a really handy feature that is not present on factory electric windows.

NOTE: This kit taps into your factory manual window regulators. Window operation speed will vary from window to window based on the condition and smoothness of the factory manual window regulators, as well as the window channels in which the window slides.
