Pop-Top Lift Assist [Eurovan Weekender]

If you've got an early-model Eurovan Weekender (Westfalia) with the manual H-bar pop-top lifting mechanism, this kit is for you!

When the first Eurovan Westfalia pop-tops were introduced, they included a manual-lift H-bar similar to the Vanagon. Due to the interior ergonomics of the Eurovan, raising the top this way is not the easiest thing to do. The later models moved to a hydraulic strut system that works much better.

This kit allows you to EITHER remove the H-bar and replace it with the same hydraulic shocks that came in the later models OR add these hydraulic struts in addition to the H-bar as an assist measure for heavy loads.
