XJ Explorer 8.8 to 1310 Driveshaft Adapter

Swapping an Explorer 8.8 into your XJ? Use this with your Explorer 8.8 rear axle to bolt in an XJ front driveshaft in the rear. This is the easiest and cheapest way to connect the 8.8 with an SYE. This works for XJ's with the 4.0 and 231 case with SYE. Our adapter is extra thick to make the front shaft the perfect length, and it uses U-bolt straps so no press is needed to assemble. Designed around 4-6" lift. This also allows you to easily move drive shafts from front to rear, or carry a single spare and install it in either end with hand tools.

Comes with U-bolts and mounting bolts.

Has "large 8.8" bolt pattern and fits a 1310 U joint.

2" pilot bore and 3" square bolt pattern

Made from 6061 aluminum in our shop in El Cajon, CA and anodized for durability.
